General Objective
This project aims to tackle the great labor gap that exists in people with intellectual disabilities, through action with young adults; promoting the employability of this group with the development of digital and gamified educative material and specific face to face and online courses for special educators and the labor market actors of Tourism, Manufacturing and Health Care economical sectors.
Empowerment
Provide the necessary knowledge to special educators to guide and accompany young adults with disabilities in their search for employment.
Advocacy
Raise awareness of the importance of inclusive employment in the business sector; Through informative and engaging courses that inform them about the capacities of people with intellectual disabilities and the benefits of their employability.
Capacity-building
Give youngsters with intellectual disabilities the tools and conceptual and technical knowledge to seek and get a job in the economic sectors of Tourism, Manufacturing and Health Care.
Inclusion
Strengthen the EU Values of Human dignity and Equality, by helping disadvantaged young people to get a dignifying job and equal access to the labor market, regardless the condition of disability.
