This project aims to tackle the great labor gap that exists in people with intellectual disabilities, through action with young adults; promoting the employability of this group with the development of digital and gamified educative material and specific face to face and online courses for special educators and the labor market actors of Tourism, Manufacturing and Health Care economical sectors.
FUB Stockholm is a non-profit organization, located in Stockholm, for people with intellectual disabilities and their families. The organization’s goal is to enable people with intellectual disabilities to live the same lives as everyone else and receive support when needed. FUB Stockholm works in various fields regarding people withintellectual disabilities. They advocate for the rights of people with intellectual disabilities to raise awareness and affirm that the needs and rights of citizens should be the same regardless of the individual or their specific needs.
The Toy Industry Research Association (AIJU) is a private, non-profit organization based in Ibi (Alicante), Spain. Its main objective in the user area is to conduct studies related to children, specializing in research, user requirements, and end-user validation. This area conducts research based on information obtained from play centers, schools, educational centers, associations supporting vulnerable people, consumer panels, and expert panels.
SUSTENTO is the only umbrella organisation in Latvia that unites 55 organisations of people with disabilities, thus forming a direct representation of more than 50,000 people with disabilities and/or chronic diseases. The aim of SUSTENTO is to promote opportunity of equal participation for all members of the society, to enable protection of rights of people with special disabilities in order to provide in-clusion into society. SUSTENTO is a full member of the European Disability Forum (EDF) since 2002.
The association aims to develop social initiatives, inspired by democracy, equality, pluralism and the the development of education, training and entrepreneurship of young people, women, migrants and the disabled in Aydın and abroad. To achieve these aims we have an ongoing collaboration with the leading universities, schools, associations, NGO’s and research organizations in Aydın for the development of projects, trainings and educational material. We pursue these objectives through the use of public places and infrastructure and the provision of specific services
